NGO SHAMMESH’s aim is to help the poorest in the city of Tori-Bossito and the south Beninese region. Our actions may include :
- the equipment of health centers, schools, orphanages, …
- the electrification and access to water of rural villages
- access to culture
- the financing of a microcredit fund
- etc…
The Shammesh-Aliho center plays in this part a crucial role. Located in the heart of a rural zone and at the nearest of the local population, the center has a team in charge of detecting needs, setting up projects, checking their implementation, assure their follow-up and report on the objectives.
Project funding is achieved in different ways : funds granted by french landlords, participation of humanitarian volunteers, 12% contribution de included in the cost of visitors’ trip, NGO Shammesh’s result reinvested in local operations.

- 13/07/2015 : Remise de tables-bancs au collège d’Azohouè-Aliho
- 03/10/2015 : Des fournitures scolaires pour les enfants de So-Ava
- 07/12/2015 : Nourriture pour l’orphelinat Fontaine Divine
